The Chairman of the Commission, Peter Mafany Musonge said at the end of the in-camera session that the Commission already had a head office at the Emergence Ministerial Complex in Yaoundé. He thanked the 84 year old dictator, President Paul Biya for providing office space for the institution and FCFA 700 million for the running of activities before a budget shall be voted.

The Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism, Mr Musonge said, will work in close collaboration with a similar institution in Canada. The Chairperson of Commission, the Vice Chairperson and the Secretary General were in the head office to ensure all was set for work to begin in earnest. The Biya Francophone Beti Ewondo regime announced that effective work will kick off today Thursday, 15th June, 2017 following the installation of the Secretary General, Chi Asafor Cornelius. The Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium has said in a statement that the commission is another Francophone tactics to stifle the Southern Cameroons uprising.
The Consortium exiled leadership further pointed out that ghost town operations will continue every Monday until all Southern Cameroonians being held in Francophone jails are released.
