GCE Board Chair losses over 40Million francs CFA to mysterious fire
The Board Chair of the GCE Board, Prof Peter Abety is reported to
have been counting his losses following a mysterious fire incident in
his school and home. The cause incident which took place over the
weekend is yet to be established but its widely rumored that the act
cannot be dissociated from the recent arsons in the English speaking
territory of Cameroon..
Prof Abety has come under fire for his fearless position to push
through with GCE exams despite mammoth threats of boycott. The exam to
most bitter Anglophones is being seen as a political manipulation
rather than a good will to give children good education.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the real cause of the inferno.
