August Alsina Reveals He's Battling Liver Disease In Clip With Jada Pinkett Smith 

 

 

 

R&B singer August Alsina had fans on edge when he recently shared a cryptic post suggesting he was struggling with a 'dis-ease'.
Now, August has opened up about his health issues in an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith. 

Alsina first shared a post asking fans for their prayers during his difficult time, although he did not reveal what type of illness he was battling. 

Some fans wondered if August had been diagnosed with cancer, while others believed he was struggling with depression as he had in the past.




I've been living my life in so much dis-ease that I've literally created it within myself... God has invested something inside of me, But I am not afraid of this Agony because I know that God pulls us back to shoot us FORWARD & To my lovely and loyal fans.. Please take care of yourself and your bodies & your SOULS. A beautiful face will fade, a beautiful body will too fade, but a beautiful soul is that FOREVER. I have so much to share, until I do.. Please say a prayer

The singer opened up to Jada Pinkett Smith about his health, sharing the news with concerned fans.

Alsina wrote in the caption of the first clip, "Sat down with my favorite person on planet earth to have one of the most HEALING conversations.. I hope it's as healing for you as it was for us. I pray that you not only hear me but you FEEL me. This shall soon come. #DRUGS."

The video clip starts by stating that August collapsed on stage in 2014 and was in a coma for three days. In 2015, he revealed to fans that his eyesight was deteriorating and that he required surgery. Now, the singer is opening up the disease that has caused his health issues.
