There's a Weird Photoshop Fail in Selena Gomez's New Selfie
Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo is always sharing gorgeous photos of the celebs whose faces he's made up, including Karlie Kloss and Ashley Benson.
Usually his posts are harmless makeup inspo, but a new selfie he just shared of Selena Gomez while working on a super hush-hush secret project with the star has some fans asking questions—and not about the project.
Fans couldn't help noticing that the photo, which shows off Gomez's casually gorgeous makeup look by Vanngo, seems to be Photoshopped.
In the bottom left corner, right above Gomez's shoulder, the wall is clearly warped.
The question is Whyyyyyyy?
Usually when warping like this is visible, it's because a star's waist or arms are being slimmed or hips widened. So seeing the wall warped like this above Sel's shoulder next to her hair is pretty weird. Like, did her shoulder need shrinking? Was the size of her head altered?
According to Seventeen designer (and Photoshop expert) Dana Tepper, it's likely this wall warp was created in an effort to give Selena's hair a little more volume.
As far as problematic Photoshopping fails go, adding a little volume to a celeb's hair is relatively harmless. Still, some fans expressed the desire for Vanngo to share the unaltered version of the photo (like he's done in the past) in the comments section of the post.
You know, to prove she's just as gorgeous with flat hair as she is when it's voluminous.
